I was fishing in my Tarrant Christian Bass Club tournament and only had 3 lil dinks in the live well at 1:30 and weigh in was at 2 p.m. I decided to fish for the bigguns and found a huge area of Duck Weed. I tied on the Field Mouse and started working it over the sparse mats. Around 1:40, 20 minutes till weigh in this big girl annihilated my mouse. I was so jacked up when she hit. The fight was touchy. She dove into the stalks and buried herself deep in the weeds. There were a couple times I thought I lost her but when she broke free I flipped in the boat and headed to weigh in. She weighed 6.95 lbs. and launched me into a 2nd place finish.
