Great day on Lake Hickory. On the water at 5am and the cold morning killed the top water schooling. I found a few bait balls in a creek and I caught several on a ...more chartreuse crankbait. I caught a few more keepers then I switched to a XZONE Chartreuse Bomb tube. I'm glad I changed to a MH Falcon 7 ft rod. The next bite was not moving. 7.2 pound largemouth tried to pull me in. I finally lipped her and quickly measured and photographed her, revived her and put her back. I had a limit, PB on Hickory and back home by 11 am.
