1. Looking to get back into fly fishing. It's been a while. I have everything except for rod/reel and line. Any suggestions would help. I can't spend much on ...more it but I want something that has enough backbone for bass up to about three pounds and light enough to flip small flys to sunfish and trout.

I would suggest a 5wt 8.5-9.5ft fly rod their is a good deal that you get all of that if you buy a Redington path kit also good price look it up

I used to use an old hand me down automatic fly reel and a super old rod that caught hundreds of sunfish. It served me well but I want an actual fly reel and a rod ...more that isn't cracking.

Good luck on your search I think you will like the 6/7 wt. You don't have to break the bank to have fun and catch fish. I have the sage and oryis rods but I ...more still have and use my first fly rod it was 35 dollars from wal mart it has landed some big steelhead and gets the job done.

Okay, one that I was looking at was a 5/6wt so that would be a little light for the bigger bugs. I'll look for a 6 or 6/7wt.

there are companies with inexpensive combos under 100 dollars, I'm not sure what your budget is, but I would say a 6 wt will get you started however it may ...more still be to light to throw those big poppers. plueger medalist is one example.
