People fishing Lake Talquin in the Florida panhandle close to Tallahasse. Beware of sunken stumps and logs. Be careful.

  Forgot when the last draw down was but I think about maybe 10 years ago but you can bet lots of those logs floated up and the stumps are still there. I have been ...more through 3 draw downs including the one where the dam broke and it completely drained.

  Jimbo, it really is good structure and I have caught many bass there and other places I knew from fishing it most of my life. This picture was taken off my dock. ...more Look at the far away bank. That is the main run of the ricer and it is excellent fishing.
