    Was planning on going to the lake this weekend and never been to guntersville is there any humps or anything i need to watch for while on open water?

      Depends on what part of the lake you are on...downriver few are navigation hazards. Upriver you can be in 2 feet of water right next to the channel...

      A lot of Gville is deep water when you are in channels.

      there are a few humps that are shallow. if you have good electronics you will be fine.
