Hey guys gonna update my fish finder in the Spring. Looking at seven inch screens by various companies. Don't need a lot of bells & whistles but reliability ...more a must. $300-400 range. Any suggestions? Tips, etc. Thanks. Earl

  I have the Simrad GO7 at the helm of my bass boat and the Lowrance Hook5 on the bow. The Simrad is a superior unit compared to the Hook. Touch screen , sonar pic ...more , GPS mapping and all. Same price point too. Simrad bought Lowrance a few years ago.
