I have one more question about those of you who have had experience with Cabela's line up of fly rods. They have a really good deal on their RLS+ combo (1/2 ...more off), and I'm looking at purchasing it. Just want to know how their rods compare to some well liked brands like sage, orvis, g-loomis, redington, etc.

  Cabelas are actually quite nice, another option is Allen fly fishing. They're cheaper stuff Is amazing

  Orvis Rods and Reels are really great I have a Cabelas Cahill 4/5/6 it's a nicereel and you can mix and match lines for it I like Cabela gear but it's really ...more an opinion of taste what you think you can
