Found at a yard sell today. A guy in my community deep sea fishes some and I thought I'd love to go either this summer or next, it's 7 hours to the coast ...more for me, so I bought it for 32 bucks needs a little oil but in good shape, as far as I can tell, did I get a good buy. Rod in next pic

  No problem. I am an addict when it comes to old reels and rods. I bought 2 bamboo surf rods in wash. State off craigs list just havent picked them up from my sisters ...more i am here in tx.

  Look under (biggreenfish.com) then look to the left for tools, oils and cleaning products. Pretty good stuff

  If and when you clean it take your time and use a toothbrush. If you need some names of pretty good cleaning products let me know i will share some suggestions
