      Be careful where you cross the lake. There's a reason they have channel markers. Get a good map and understand and follow the markers. I towed a buddy who knows ...more the lake very well. Cost him $2,900. (not the tow). I had to get my prop rebuilt for $50. Yes, this was near the dam!

      They're starting to move back to where you can catch them good. Might have to hang off the bank a little though

      What's the lake like in early Sept? Tough? Are they still out on main lake or have they started moving back? Schooling?

      North fork sugar creek south side from entrance all the way back good spots, I mainly fish it in the spring though

      If you love bank fishing sugar bay is probably my favorite. I stay on the deeper right bank. There are always fish there. I've never had a problem catching a ...more 15 pound bag in an hour there. Smallies and big largies stay there bc deep water is so close by
