      brickyard is just down from carter farm and waaaae an actual brickyard before lack came in in fifties

      I've been on & around Big Sam since it was flooded in 1965 and I can't say that I've heard the name "Brickyards" before. It must be something ...more that is very local to a small group of people. Also it doesn't appear on any of the maps that I have.
