    I finally Google it and found out what it was... I haven't seen one before. I've trapped perch, used a sain, just plain had me wonderin. ..lol...

      Pretty sure it’s a Redfin Pike. Grew up catching Redfin Pike in dark water creeks in South Georgia. Coloration was slightly different from creek to creek.
      Great ...more tasting but boney. We would gash them on both sides to the spine before frying. Nice sweet meat.
