shore fishing at Thompson Lake , Howell Michigan , same spot my Dad first took me fishing 60 years ago. water was very dirty from Sunday boat traffic and wind action ...more as wind was gusting 25 Knots out of SW , ahead of warm front an storms . casting a ROUGE crank bait chartruse an blue , landed an released a small Largemouth just minutes before the heavy down pour hit.

  introduced my younger (64years young) Brother to fishing , I did not realize I was going to start him on the way to going broke.. He had a ski boat that was never ...more used. since I put a rod in his hand 3 weeks ago we have launched on Lake Lansing 3 times and went to lake St, Clare for the first time ever ..He had not caught a fish until Lake St. Clare let him fight a small mouth ,now he wants to go back.. every time we went out on on Lake Lansing it was after a strong cold front , I told him the bite would be few an slow ,Same with Lake St. Clare but we did manage to catch an release 4 Small Mouths , 3 on drop shot with crawlers and one on a Rapala original minnow all while drifting over 10 t0 15 Ft off the Harbor of refuge near 9 Mile
