Looking to make my first trip to Lake Shelbyville for crappie. Was just wondering what would be the best ramp for me to launch from on the lake? I'm coming down ...more from Ottawa area. Thank You

  You can launch at Coon creek. The crappie have been caught along the roadbed and near the flooded timber with Jigs and minnows. Also there is a great bait and ...more tackle shop (Coon Creek Castaways) at the gates of Coon Creek campgrounds. So you can stock up on live bait, pop, and snacks.

  Try the Lithia Springs Ramp at the marina. There are plenty of spots to get Crappie right in the Lithia Springs cove from the ramp to the bridge.
