Just spent 4 days fishing Kentucky Lake. First time there. Fished out of Kings Creek Resort and Marina near north end. Fished one day with guide and the target ...more was crappie. Lake was about 3 - 4 foot low. Stake beds in only about 2' of water. Weather was beautiful in the 70's, and water surface temp was 55 to 58 degree. Was there on the 31st to the 3rd. We caught only 3 bluegill. Nothing on crappie. Not even a bit. The guide Don Travis could not believe it. Oh well, did not see anyone else having luck either. Storms hit and I headed home. Maybe next time.
