I just got back from the lake, did some fishing north of the Theodosia bridge. White bass (1-3lbs) were hitting on A rigs with white swimbaits, thumper tails worked ...more better than twister tails. Casting into the shallows with a medium retrieve worked best. Because the temperature ranged from the high 40's to the low 60's the bite was not consistant. Fishing the same locations with the same A rigs, but casting just past the brush lines parallel to the shore with a VERY slow retrieval, produced spotted and largmouth bass in the 1/4 to 3 lb range.
