1. Largemouth bass fishing has slowed considerably, but some fish are still being caught. Reports of 1-2 lb. fish being caught on large plastic worms and fishing the ...more bends of the creek channel. Target the channel ledges. Dark or natural colored soft plastics are popular choices. Weedless plastics are usually the best way to fish Calling Panther, but crankbaits and rattletraps can easily be fished off the levee in the afternoons.
    Bream fishing has been slow lately. Try using crickets and redworms around brushtops in 3-6 feet of water.
    Catfish can be caught on liver or cool-cat worms fished on the bottom in about 5-10 feet of water. Also, try the creek channel in the lake as well as the creek at the nature trail. Catfish are being caught at night right now as well.
    Crappie are in deep water and are suspended in 6-12 ft. of water. Try fishing minnows or jigs around tops in medium depths of water. Also, try the structure around the dam. Nightfishing has been popular lately as well.
