Started fishing around 1400 today. Cast worms from both earthen piers, the boat slip, and two or three other spots that were well worn from previous fisherman. Four ...more rods in the water for four or so hours and all we got was a half eaten worm. Many minnows present around the shore line, and even a few fish surfacing closer to sunset but still no luck.
The shoreline is a little overgrown, its sad considering federal money is used to maintain the park. The litter from people parting out there and the multitude of trash laden fire rings is unfortunate. We decided we'd go again. But, only if we had beer and fuel for a fire. Good spot to chill, bad spot to catch anything. At least that's how it was today.
