Fishing off Edgartown has been pretty good for boats chunking or trolling wire line. Fluke fishing around the island is okay, but big black sea bass are biting well in the Vineyard Sound. Charter Captains are reporting decent fishing along the north shore and Wasque rips. Some of the fish out there were loaded with sea lice indicating new arrivals. Bluefishing has slowed but occasional blitzes of smallish fish are still taking place off the Menemsha jetty and Cape Poge.
