Water conditions are so low that boat ramps are unusable, all boat launching must be done from shorelines and most large boats can’t be launched. Regardless of water ...more levels there is still good action on bass and catfish. Boat anglers have been landing bass up to 6 pounds on crankbaits and spinnerbaits with good top water action early and late in the day. The catfish action, good for boat and shore-bound anglers, has been great on salted garlic, clam meat, regular clams, shad, and green garlic nightcrawlers. Bluegill and crappie are slowing down and there are no reports on trout.
