Crappie fishing is very good along the dam and marina areas on jigs and minnows. Best fishing has been in the mornings and evenings. There is not a place to buy ...more minnows in the Sterling area. Some wiper are being caught in early morning hours on mussel. Several large catfish have been caught on the mud flats on cut bait. Water temperatures are in the 70s.
