1. Details: King Mackerel

Caught a couple kings a couple weeks ago on vacation. Almost had a barracuda too.

  2. Caught some good sized perch and some small cats couple hours before the storm. First cast within seconds I pulled out a cat.

@Skylar012 yeah I know where you're talking about. I'm not big on crappie so the only thing I can say about them is they're around docks a lot of times.

I've only been to the area where you got to have the key to get into the lake.

I really want to catch them big fat crappie. I met a guy at the lake and he caught a few, and they were good size

@Skylar012 yeah it's pretty high up right now from them storms. You outta try some creeks off the lake. Most are at the same level as normal.

Have you tried a santee cooper rig? I still lose gear at that lake, but not as much as when I'm using a straight Carolina rig.

A guy told me to use pantyhose to hold your bait on your hook. Put a hotdog chunk on it then covered it with the pantyhose and worked great. Wasn't goin for ...more the bass but it's better than nothing.

Ya we use that tactic for shark u put the chum in the pantyhose and its like a chum bag on your hook
