    Details: American Eel

    Anybody know the species? Spent 3 nights in past two weeks trying to find some big catfish in this area of the river. Hopping from spot to spot on the canoe trying ...more every different type of bait possible and have somehow managed to catch every species (i.e. this eel looking thing here, alligator gar, bass, freshwater drum, carp) except the one I'm trying to target! Any insight encouraged, need help!

    Fishing from the shore at Red Bud Isle dog park. Big girl hit her about 3-4ft from the shore and I almost had a heart attack...

    Pulled this 4.5lb (ish) guy off Onion Creek Golf Course as the sun was going down (shoe size 12 for reference). Can be a difficult creek to fish from the shore, ...more stealthy presentation only reason I got this one. Definitely still spooked more than I caught!
