Details: Green Sturgeon
Fishing off the pier at night for king salmon and thinking he had on a catfish possibly as it stayed near the bottom for quite some time finally was able to tire ...more it out & saw it was a sturgeon. A near by fisherman was kind enough to net it and we took some quick pics and returned it to the lake completely unharmed... Congrats to my son on his first sturgeon!!

Whitefish are on their annual spawning run from Lake Michigan, 1oz jigging spoon, 8 lb leader. Weather conditions were excellent for November... Run doesn't ...more last long, only mouth hooked fish are legal to keep, all others go back! Fun fishin'
