      It's one of the only ways to catch salmon here when they're spawning

      No flossing is where you have a long leader with a bead on the end and you drift it down the river and the leader flosses through the salmons mouth. Then they bite ...more the bead down and fish on!!

      We're not having as much luck in the yuba river all we catch there is hatchery steelhead and some natives but we let those go

      I'm not from California. But you should try below dams along rivers in your area. That tends to be where they hang around.
