    alligator snapping turtle..not nearly close to the size they grow to. but found this little guy along the sidewalk beside the bayou. He was a solid 15lbs or so.

      I have a very similar rig I use for carp! There's a pic in my feed if you'd like to see. I dampen down my line about 20 lbs. each from what your pic suggests ...more @djim10

      ya! just put a heavier weight because if the current is too strong the current will prevent the weight from touching bottom. If there's rocks use a pyramid weight ...more it's worked for me before.
