I spent over an hour battling this guy up to the gulf shores state park pier. we couldnt pull him up so we had to cut him off. he was about 5-6 feet long.

I've used those TX rig like these guys say and also as a trailer for a jig. I usually cut off a bit of the butt section to get presentation right as jig trailer.

Texas rig depends on how deep the place your fishing at is so that will decide if you need a weight. I bounce it off the bottom these thinks catch bass i have also ...more caught cats of them
