Been fishing since age two...Only 78 years. Grew up in Vegas and Dad always had a boat. I now have a 21' Chaparral and STILL LOVE to fish. So ...more fished Lake Mead, the river, and southern Utah (Escalante) and Panguich Lake in Utah. Then, for my 12th birthday, Dad took me to Guaymas for some billfish. Around 2000, started going to Alaska, Juneau area. Caught my biggest halibut...6' 9" and 286 pounds. Yes, pictures!
I go to Alaska every year, as it's FANTASTIC. Even a picture of a 5' ling cod graces my wall, next to my halibut. Met a WONDERFUL gal in January 2019 in Big Bear, where I had a winter home. Next thing I knew, I was back in Vegas living with her since January. In summation, to say I love to fish, is the understatement of the year. Have many rods and reels ranging from a 1556 stick rated for 80# and my Int'l 50 2-speed down to my Kencor XL-2 5' 8" rod rated for 2# test and those FANTASTIC white bass at Lake Nacimiento. They fight GREAT and even taste BETTER!
