Retired. Grew up on a farm east of McFarland, WI near Madison and began fishing as a young kid with a 16-foot cane pole with worms, night crawlers, ...more crickets and helgremites I dipped from a neighbor's pond with an old small window screen. I fished mostly the Yahara River off the historic old Dyreson Road iron bridge for bluegills, perch, sheepshead, bullheads and bass. Years ago, I also got lots of sunfish about tobacco harvest time in August.
Now, I like to catch a couple limits of bluegill each spring at the little park evenings on the east side of Lake Monona by the Bait/ice cream shop on Winnequah Road on Madison’s east side.
Now I reside in Oconomowoc, WI. I have a kayak and am trying to figure out the lakes close by hear in “Lake Country”.
