Most obvious spot on this small lake for fishing without a boat is the swim dock. It gets you a good 30 feet out from the shore. Cast and retrieve with simple rubber worms worked great, also spinners and swim baits. Also, jigging straight off the dock has caught me a lot. An abundance of largemouth bass, yellow perch, and bluegill sunfish. Supposedly stocked with rainbow trout, though I never caught on here. Get comfortable with Texas rigs and other snagless setups. This place gets weedy by June. It also sometimes freezes in the winter.
