About 20 feet out from the point (Hickory Trees on the bank, only hickory trees along the entire lake) there is a nice hole for Pan Fish and Crappie.

  I think you may be taking about the wrong lake, Beechwood has no dam. Mauthe Lake does though.

  My 6 yr old son and I are around the dam fishing and to be honest I don't know what hickory trees look like can you tell us where a good place to catch them ...more fish would be
