  I have always had good luck ice fishing on the north shore line from the powerline east into the pocket. Usually keep busy with tip ups while pulling up crappies ...more on the jig sticks.

  I'm not sure. I've been catching a lot on bass jigs with craw trailers. Anywhere under the power lines is good for northerns too.
