These are structure lakes, most lakes always have some type of structure. I've caught fish over 8lbs in 5 different lakes around Va not a lot of fisherman can ...more say that. From sandy to chesdin and they were all heavily pressured waters. I take pride in that, fishing deep is my passion. I've caught fish from 4 to 7 pounds in every lake. I can't even remember how many in the hundreds. This summer I had my best 5 fish limit at 38.75 pounds but I really like seeing other people's views cause I just wanna get that much better. So I really do appreciate your side of it Donald!!

Theirs no doubt they are trophy fish and some nice ones did they come from sandy river

Yeah I know but a lot of people say bugs isn't either but it don't take a lot of deft change for the bass to relate to them dropoffs

Well everyone has there own opinion of ledges but I don't really consider chesdin a ledge lake.. Since there really are only a few true vertical drops hints ...more (ledge) I normally don't fish unless I see something I like either it's a good piece of structure with bait close by or it relates to something channel, hump, ditch etc... But I do appreciate your info!! Check my profile pic it's 10.50 I caught off a small hump 25' of water!

Hey joe I can post a 1000 ledge spots but don't mean the fish will be relating to them it all depends on water temp and weather.you would think bass would be ...more on ledges late May until earlie October.and in the winter when water temp reaches low 50s it's just a good starting point in those times plus they could use ledges in the
Spring and fall when cold fronts have past threw you just have to have confidence in what you see on your electronics and weather conditions plus water temp.thr barmectric pressure plays a key role in ledge fishing

Well the key to ledge fishing is weather patterns too fish move around a lot they just don't stay in one spot or stay on ledge where I've got them marked ...more just a good starting point with good electronics

You sure do have a lot of spots marked that either are self explanatory or don't make a lot of sense... The truth of the matter is any true ledge fisherman isn't ...more gonna post his hard work findings for just anyone...
