About Mutton Snapper

Color is olive green above the lateral line, and reddish on their lower half. The body is marked with darker vertical bars. All fins below the lateral line have a reddish tinge and the anal fin is pointed. Bright blue line below the eye, following contour of operculum. A small black spot is located below the dorsal fin on each side. V-shaped tooth patch on roof of the mouth.
