About Lesser Amberjack

Olive green or brownish-black body with silver sides and belly. A dark diagonal strip extends from the mouth across both eyes to about the first dorsal fin. Juveniles have split or wavy bars on sides. Proportionately larger eye and deeper body than greater amberjack. Has 8 spines in the first dorsal fin
