About Knobbed Porgy

Has a deep, compressed, triangular body due to a very steep front profile. Nape projects strongly in large adults. Body is generally silvery, with a rosy cast. Cheek and snout are dark purplish gray, with many small yellowish spots and blue streaks under the eyes. Large blue spot at axil of pectoral fin.
