Caldron Falls Flowage really does have the perfect balance between numbers and quality fish. Try fishing the fresh cabbage with orange / black buck tails or twitch ...more baits in the early morning hours. As the day progresses continue to fish the cabbage for action, but for big fish work the weed line with jerk baits. As fall temperatures drop deep diving crank baits are deadly when fishing the weed lines and off shore structure. The Largemouth bass has been present in very strong numbers throughout the area. Try casting in the wooded shorelines with spinner baits and plastics; fishing the slop with weedless spoons is also a good tactic this time of year.
