Daingerfield State Park Lake Fishing Reports

Recently shared catches and fishing spots

  1. Details: 15 lb. 3 oz. 41 in. Channel Catfish with a live bait

  2. Details: Channel Catfish with a Bomber lures "square a" 0-3 ft

Slow retrieve next to cat tails

  3. Details: Channel Catfish with a worm

As simple as it gets, a live worm below a bobber. These catfish weren't big, but there were a lot of them, and a blast to catch on UL. Fishing from the pier ...more at sundown at Daingerfield State Park over memorial weekend on a camping trip. There's a big drop off, the pier is 15 ft deep, and 20 ft out it drops to 30. Throw a worm out from the right side of the pier to the drop off for results.

Put the hook about 2-3 feet below the bobber. There was a light current flowing towards the left, so if one doesn't bite, you have to recast. Right during sundown ...more was the best time. 80* no wind, sunny
  4. Details: Largemouth Bass with a drop shot

Just got back from a camping trip to Daingerfield state park. The park has a neat little lake that has tons of lily pads and structure along the shore. The lake ...more was deep in some parts, but I caught this guy in about 10 FOW in the middle of the cove with a weedy bottom. Another neat thing about it is that there are chain pickeral in the lake (I didn't catch any) Sunny, very humid, light wind, 80*
