    I had a good few days on the Susquehanna River for the Hobie BOS Tournament this past weekend. I finished a respectable 41st out of 192 anglers, in stacked field ...more with some of the best kayak anglers in the country. I had a good pattern working, but could not find enough big fish to cash a check (top 19 out of 192 anglers were paid). Over three days (1 practice day and 2 tournament days) I caught more than 65 smallies. As with just about everyone who fished this weekend, I lost a few big ones that would have made the difference, but that is fishing on the Susky. These smallmouth are strong, mean, and smart.
