The mouth of the Maumee River meets Lake Erie, the bay is shallow. The first few miles of the river is deep from ship channel. Besides the shipping channel, the Bay is rather featureless.

      Awesome catch Kenny, were you on the wall at Maumee Bay? Haven't been over that way in some years. Caught a 23 1/4 inch 7lb 4oz at east harbor bout 3yrs ago ...more now. Congratulations go to Odnr fish Ohio site and submit sure it would qualify
