This starting to get funny. This is the 5th channel cat I've caught this spring, all on Strike King crank baits and they seem to be getting bigger. I finally ...more bought a gripper because I can't fit it them in my bass landing net. I was using a chartreuse kvd 1.5 thinking they would leave it alone...WRONG. I was using my lightest crank bait rod to make it really interesting. I tried to weigh it but it started flopping and my scales hung up on .6 lbs. I caught a really nice bass after that but could not weigh it. I have to toss the line after the thing took me to every corner of my boat.
Nice numbers of fish but a limited trophy fishery. Largemouth, Crappie, stripers and blue catfish head the species list. 32,500 acres
