  3. What a day we had yesterday! My parents and I finally got out again with Captain Tom Roller of WaterDog Guide Service and had a blast! By the end of the day we had ...more a cooler full of big bluefish (which were absolutely the most fun to catch on topwater plugs) and one nice speckled trout, but we caught so much more! Gulf flounder, red drum, croaker, pigfish, and lizardfish made it in the boat as well. Despite a slow speckled trout bite, this was my favorite inshore trip ever! I can't wait to get back out there!

  5. well after talking to a few bait shop guys down in obx and finding out pretty much all there was to fish for was small fish, I decided to just do up a shark rig ...more and fish for sharks in the surf :) Had a few rigging tips from a buddy, but other than that pretty much did this one all on my own; it was a rush! thankfully my wife got a good picture cause she sure as hell didn't help me land the shark or go anywhere near it hahaha

  6. hey guys, i'm going to be in north carolina last week of june/first week of july and i'm wondering if anyone has any tips about fishing the area. I'll ...more be near kittyhawk on one of the canals. any significant fishing in the actual canals that will be in my backyard? I've never caught redfish or speckled trout which i'm thinking and hoping i can knock out from shore. I'm also looking for info on a good charter to go after some kind of warm saltwater species we don't get up in NJ. maybe grouper.

    1. Christopher Pereira 0
hahaha it's still a long way to you morris. i'll be back in the next year or two though. I won't have a car to myself so idk how far i'll be able ...more to drive.
