Largemouth Bass with a Keitech 4" swing impact "bluegill flash"

  10. Caught right off the dock at the boat launch. Was using a 1/8th oz weighted swim bait hook. Letting it fall to the bottom on the cast.. And then retrieved slow with ...more pauses every few seconds. They hit it on the fall.

Largemouth Bass with a Keitech 4" swing impact "bluegill flash"

The scent on the keitech..they describe it as "squid" -- well I don't know what squid smells like so I can't speak to authenticity but it's ...more quite pungent lol. It will wear off in the water but it's good. The tails on these are fragile but that's what makes em work so well. You get a ton of action on them at any speed retrieve. Doing the "yoyo" or trying to imitate a dying/struggling baitfish works the best for me.

They'll work. I would recommend the bluegill flash color, or a pearl of some sort. Never thought of trying them with a spinner jig head.. would probably work ...more good. The only issue I have with these is they are quite brittle to bites. 1 or 2 fish, and you're taking a new one out of the package. The FAT version are also really good. I truly think it's the scent on these that does it.

I ordered a couple packs of the Keitech swing impact to try. I also ordered 2 Fish head spins to put them on.
