One of the newest lakes in eastern Nebraska, Walnut Creek is a 100-acre flood control lake built with fish and quality fishing in mind. The lake area closes at 10 p.m. There are no garbage cans here, so pack your trash out.

    Saturday to Tonight. 8 bass early evening

      Tonight was nice weather. But, it was a dink fest other than my last that was about 2lbs. Saturday 4 fish in 1 hour. All 1.5 to 2lbs. Sunday. 2 fish in 20 minutes. ...more Same size. Only hitting finesse baits. Drop shot fluke worm. And weightless gulp alive minnow just slowly working it up and down.
