    They have over 10 ponds to fish in. Was to has anything from bream to catfish to bass. I haven't been there personally but I heard that some of the ponds have ...more limited access from the shore but others have piers built around them. I plan on going soon so I'll have to update & let y'all know how good it is

      We went a few weeks ago n a guy told us that every pond there is over fished, we never got a bite even using worms to catch crappie or even catfish

      Actually it's in a private pond not the river. Plus I was standing on the shore of the point but about 10ft of the point was underwater

      I've actually done pretty good on the Berkley powerbait in shad, pearl white red eyes n just started using the firetiger a few weeks back. But I think I got ...more a defective batch cuz one fish would pull the hook thru the bait. The water has pretty much been clear until the past week with all this rain n runoff going into it. Also raised the levels to where I was able to get 2 weeks ago is now under water. I lost bout 10 ft of bank in one area n it's right off a point coming into the shallows. But while exploring drier land I found an old beaver dam n I saw some fry up to bout 7 or 8 inch ones swimming there

      Geoffrey I'm not a stickler on colors. I like green soft plastics, and natural color on hard baits. I like translucent spinner bait skirts and only use bright ...more colors (firetiger etc) in heavily stained to muddy water. But to each his own. Use what you have confidence in and you will do ok.

      Due to lack of funds it's my only option but it's something that I've been doing most of my life. I think maybe for a yr or two I actually fished out ...more of a boat. But that was when I lived in Larose n would go either to Delta Farms or sometimes lake salvador. But the place I been going lately u can see em swim by n even see em on the beds

    Actually caught in old gravel pit. I've caught several out of this spot. 7 ft is bout max depth I fish from the bank so can't get to the whole area. Have ...more caught at different times and different sizes

      Also a private spot. The owner don't let many ppl go there. I just wish I had a boat with electronics so I can get to the middle n see how deep it is max

      I'm also not sure y at one zoom level it says bogue chitto river n if u zoom in close it says tangi river both which are at least 10 miles away
