In October the state netted 60 black crappie, significantly less than last year but similar to previous years. The largest fish sampled was 11.4" and weighed 0.75 lbs. To go after the larger crappie try live minnows near brush piles and trees.

    Well I couldn’t pinpoint the place on Table Rock but we did get a couple of these to take the bait as well. This was a very enjoyable trip!!
