  4. Saw a huge fish boiling, so me and my fishing buddies casted to it and I was the lucky one that the fish hit my lure. Absolutely slammed it and almost ripped the ...more pole out of my hand. Biggest Smallmouth Ive ever even seen, let alone caught. Didnt have a scale but did get a length!

  5. My friend took me up to the Tippecanoe River to do some fishing sunday August 14th, had a great day but was topped off when we got back to the cabin and my friend's ...more dad had a 26 inch Pike in the cooler!! This was the first Pike I'd ever even seen in Indiana and was a sight to behold!

    Left a pole in the water as I loaded everything in the truck and came back with this guy hooked. Heck of a fight in a #6 cricket hook and 4# line.

    The best fishing here is before Memorial Day and after Labor Day due to the high recreational use. The current state record white bass and hybrid striped bass came from Freeman.
