    I caught this nice bass on light tackle. We were just slow trolling live shiners. Just hooking the shiners though the lower lip and out through the nose. This left ...more the shiners very lively and we got most of our bites on these shiners. Nice fight.

    Caught this nice 3-4.5 on a live shiner. Just waiting for the bass to come and engulf the shiners and then the rod just starts to double over. Cool fight.

    Fishing in Lake Broward with free spooling live shiner behind the boat in about 13 feet of water. We were just fishing for about 1 hour and caught about 15 bass. ...more Lots of 1-2 pounders and a few 3-4 pounders.

      Yah but your still killing fish. Plus you could of caught those again. And one of those could of been the next 12 pounder. Just saying

      Yeah @justLMbass it's called pod managment and it actually helps the lake all the fish in lake broward are native and it's a private lake that nobody fishes ...more so it's all good.

      @justLMbass I know what you are thinking, but we are the only ones that fish the lake for ten years and there are still a ton of bass

      Do you know what happen to all the turtles in lake broward? The PH balance is terrible in that lake now. It will give you rashes and get your pets sick if they drink ...more it. It sure was a beautiful lake in the 80s and 90s now there is no turtles to clean the bacteria from dead fish frogs etc. and the town also hires to spray chemicals for weed control. It’s upsetting cause that lake was so crystal clear blue and full of springs that are part of the Georgia aquifer. Without Turtles the lake will become toxic.
