It's a beautiful place to fish!! The variety there is amazing also. I think I'll study my topo maps a little more and head out there this weekend too.

My daughter lives in Santee, so I fish a lot at San V, I will be at San V this Sunday & Monday.

I try to get onto as much water as possible. I broke my fly rods so I wont be doing much of that anytime soon. But since moving to San Diego I have bought a couple ...more Salt setups and I have quite a bit of freshwater set ups. I love San V but I live pretty close to Lake Murrey. I have also been to El Cap a couple of times.

Where do you like to fish?
    5. Jose Montalvo 0
I would recommend no more than 2 hours on the weekend. As for weekdays Arriving an hour before just to get rigs setup should be ok.

Personally I like to get there before 5 am. But then again I'm a 23 year old without responsibilities ( kids or family).
