    Fun day on the water the bay is wide open rockfish right now!!!!we even got a sole.

    Details: Calico Bass with a 3 in. Red calico hunter color big hammer swimbait.

    Castes into kelp whole, got backlash undid it started to reel 2 ft and got picked up, fought it through kelp for 5 mins with 40 on braid and 15 floro leader

    Caught this sargo on squid at Santa Monica pier! It's great to get away from school and get back to the fish

    Details: Sierra Mackerel with a Live anchovies

    Went out to 45ft deep water with live anchovies and caught about 12 mackerel within an hour. All about 8-9 inches.

      Those are great ling cod bait and are some of the greatest fighting fish for their size especially if you get 3-4 on the same jig nice catch

    Details: Mottled Sculpin with a Cut up squid pieces

    Went out to 85ft waters around 3pm and caught these guys. They were biting both squid and anchovies.
