Go to Lakeside Fishing shop at 10/Jefferson, they have been really helpful to me
    4. Jason B 0
I mostly fished 100 yards or so from shore

St clair shores library. Can park at library and drag sled right onto the lake from parking lot. Now that snow is gone you can see the depth and i just walked around ...more looking for holes. I found the bigger ones to be in deeper water (8ft ish). If you are too close to shore you will catch millions of 5in but nothing bigger

  4. Details: Muskie

My dad's accidental 32" musky awhile draggin' tubes for smallmouth. Thought he had a trophy smallmouth from the fight, took a good 3-4 minutes to fight ...more him out from underneath the boat, when it finally came to surface he had a nice surprise 😮

    1. Detroit River Angler 0
@SurfFishKing11 keen observance 😏 Of course he would have loved a 7lb smallie, but he was pumped just as well to catch the Muskie... Especially when he realized ...more it was a tiger Muskie... his 1st ever

  5. Details: Largemouth Bass

Draggin tubes for smallies in L'anse Creuse Bay. Throwing tubes for a couple hours and nothing. Dipped the frills in chartreuse and that was the ticket. Ended ...more up taking two smallies, three largemouth and my dad caught a musky. All between 10:30 and 11:30am, then bite went cold again. First LMB of the season, 3lbs 9oz

      Chunker!
  6. Details: Smallmouth Bass

First trip out to St Clair this year for smallie huntin'. First fish of the day was the biggest, matched my PB, 20" 4lb 15oz. Dad and I netted 6 fish, ...more dragging tubes in 9FOW, water temp 55 degrees. Beautiful April day, got up to 78 degrees and no wind on the lake today, which is rare for St Clair. Easy fishing conditions, just wish we got out earlier today.

  7. Details: Sheepshead

Fishing for smallmouth during pre-spawn. Usually find sheepshead patrolling the same waters as smallies.

  9. Details: Walleye

2 man limit today, 12 eyes, 1 musky, 4 pike

  10. Details: Smallmouth Bass

I couldn't keep a straight face for this fish! Here's my new PB Smallmouth Bass at 5.8 pounds. If you guys live in the great state of Michigan, fish Lake ...more St. Clair! It is one of the greatest opportunities. This waterbody has so much to offer from fun competitiveness and huge Smallmouth.
